Katherine Williams
Born in Berkeley, Katherine Williams is a 4th-generation Californian. As a child, Katherine spent her summers in Inverness, during the creation of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Using traditional medium format film and a digital SLR, Katherine photographs the dramatic landscapes and coastal wildlife of the Point Reyes Pennisula. Her images have a painterly quality and emphasize water, mist and the wildness of a place that is an "Island in Time".
