When I first began my photographic career, I was using a Leica that had been used by both my father and grandfather. Both were amateur photographers, one of whom taught me to look and the other to print. I have always been intrigued by the inception or intimation of movement. Light and color have been integral to my fascination. So I have found most of my subjects in nature and have continued to use film and the Ilfochrome print process to express my subjects.
