As a professional geologist (PhD. from U.C.) I’ve always been particularly fascinated by deciphering the morphological evolution of landscape. My research has focused on the role of surface and sub- surface rock properties and processes expressed in landscape form. The subjects of my photography Include abstract landscapes,, vegetation, architectural elements of structures from a wide range of traditional cultures throughout the world ,figurative environmental portraits, nudes and a wide range of cultural subjects. I have had one –person shows of my work at several galleries in the Bay Area, bookstores, banks, The San Francisco Art Institute, and the University of California.
